Jessica Tucker

BSW MSW RSW

Registered Social Worker

Hi, I’m Jessica Tucker, MSW, RSW, and I provide virtual counselling services through Anchor & Bloom Counselling to individuals, families, youth, and couples across Alberta.

I offer a warm, supportive, and practical approach to therapy, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, parenting concerns, relationship difficulties, perimenopause and menopause, and other life transitions. My work is grounded in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based approaches, and emotional regulation strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, accessible, and grounded in real-life strategies that clients can apply outside of sessions.

Virtual counselling is available across Alberta, with sliding scale options available to support accessibility.

Training, Certifications and Professional Development

Committed to Ongoing Learning

I believe effective counselling requires ongoing learning, reflection, and professional growth. Alongside my Master of Social Work (MSW) education and registration as a Registered Social Worker (RSW), I continue to pursue specialized certifications and professional development in areas that are relevant to the individuals and families I support.

Continuing education allows me to strengthen my clinical knowledge, expand the strategies I can offer, and provide counselling that is responsive to each person's individual experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.

Why Ongoing Training Matters

Mental health care continues to evolve, and no single counselling approach is right for every person.

Ongoing professional development allows me to continue expanding my knowledge and draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what is most helpful for each client. Rather than trying to fit you into one particular model, we can work together to identify strategies that align with your experiences, values, strengths, circumstances, and goals.

My commitment to continued learning is part of my commitment to providing counselling that is compassionate, inclusive, practical, and grounded in current professional knowledge.

My Journey Begins

Anchor & Bloom Counselling was created from a passion for providing holistic, client-centred support in a compassionate and welcoming space. I believe counselling should recognize the whole person—their experiences, relationships, strengths, challenges, and goals—while providing practical, evidence-informed support tailored to their individual needs.

My goal is to make counselling as accessible as possible. Sliding-scale options are available for eligible clients, with fees guided by provincial professional standards.

As a Registered Social Worker (RSW), counselling services may be covered by many extended health benefit and insurance plans. Clients are encouraged to check with their individual insurance provider to confirm coverage for services provided by a Registered Social Worker. Receipts are provided for reimbursement where applicable.

Your Well-being Matters

At Anchor and Bloom Counselling, I prioritize your journey towards healing and growth. Your story is unique, and I am committed to providing compassionate, personalized support to help you navigate life's challenges and embrace a brighter future.
